There is no "Healthiest Dog Food" for all dogs. You can take the "best" food they make and there will be dogs that do not do well on it.
I have tried the Innove Evo, and it may be a great food, but my dogs did NOT do well on it. I have tried other brands and my dogs do the best on Eukanuba mixed with Wellness.
I avoid the Purina foods, like Dog Chow and the novelity foods like Beneful..they have a ton of corn and that means they eat more and poop more. BUT, there are many people I know that have top obedience and working dogs and they feed Dog Chow.
So..whatever you can live with (poop level and price) and what does good by your dog is what you should feed.

Nutripet is the very best out there! Never been recalled and it's been the best for over 40 yrs now! My dogs go crazy over it(even my rescue dog that before I got her had been fed only people food and was sooo picky) and it's a worldwide company so you can get it shipped right to you wherever you live. It's organically grown and doesn't use fillers! They are able to send samples also if you need it, but I really doubt you'll need it, they also have canned food and treats with the same quality.

There is no such thing as healthy dog food. Dog food is a slow death for these wonderful companions. Would you eat something that can survive on a shelf for 6 months without rotting? If dog food is so good why is it that humans can't eat it without getting sick? In the wild, dogs would eat a variety of meat such as chicken, raw chicken.
Here is a link to "What's really in dog food". Once you read this I would hope that you could never consciously feed your dog or any dog, dog food again. There are holistic dog foods that are good, research them. Comparisons at healthlypet.net. Bottom line, go with a raw diet or a holistic brand and your dog with live from 20 to 28 years instead of slowing killing them with dog food and cutting their life short.

My vet recommended Nutro Max because it has the highest amount of linoleac acid than any other dog food. It's also natural dog food and high in other nutrients. All I can say is that over the course of 30 years I've tried them all from Iams to Science Diet, Diamond...you name it. Nutro Max is by far the best of all and I can see the difference in my dogs skin and coat.

Left legs ! Left legs of anything , other dogs , big or small ,sheep pigs, cows cockroaches centipides , newcleer bomb producers legs go down a treet , these are scifentifically proven facts , don'cha have a telly then ?
Chairs, tables , pier-heads , not highly recomendable also not scifentifically proven facts , but would probably suffice if things go from bad to worse .
Try tires , boeing 747s for example , not much of a recyclig market for them I'd imagine , stay away from the domestic ones , they dont have all the international flavour variants ,squashed bug or vitamins your dog shall require by the time you've got tit down to eating rubber .

Ask 20 different Vets and you will get 20 different answers. I bought a book on how to prepare and cook my dogs food myself, and which vitamins I need to make sure they are getting. I cook up about a months worth at a time and freeze them into individual servings.. No chemicals or preservatives. They get a good hot meal every night. They never leave a scrap and their coat and skin is in perfect condition.

I've got it! We should go to the store, and buy the most expensive brand on the shelf. That way, we can be sure that we are feeding our dog the absolute best.

Whatever works best for you and your dog, as long as it says "Complete" diet. I give my puppy Eukanuba until at
about 10 months they decide they do not like it, then they are weaned of the Eukanuba and onto a 1/2-1/2 Pro Plan and Pedigree chicken in both. Of course they get veggies and liver and chicken, etc. If they like it, I give it. The fat girls get French style green beans. They love it!

The ones that are the most expensive and advertise how healthy they are seem to have cereal as their first ingredIEnt.
The order in which the ingredients appear is the amount ie "rice, water, chicken, cornmeal,"etc. means that rice is what there is most of in that dog food.
To me, it seems like a dog would need the protein from meat.

I haven't ever read anything about any type of scientific studies but I have always stuck to anything Purina or IAMS. IAMS is a good quality food but more expensive. I'm not sure why but my father has always told me to stick with Purina.
