there are different kinds of glaucoma.. and an eye doctor must monitor the pressure in each of the eyes.

if there's an acute block in the drainage in the eyes brought about by any deformities can increase pressure and lead to glaucoma. actually, it can occur at any age. even newborns can develop it.

Some drugs, Steroids for example, raise eye pressure.
