And why, under the Bush Regime have we became Terrorists by our own Legal Definition?

United States Code
TITLE 18 > PART I > CHAPTER 113B > § 2331 Prev | Next

§ 2331. Definitions
How Current is This?

As used in this chapter—
(1) the term “international terrorism” means activities that—
(A) involve violent acts or acts dangerous to human life that are a violation of the criminal laws of the United States or of any State, or that would be a criminal violation if committed within the jurisdiction of the United States or of any State;
(B) appear to be intended—
(i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population;
(ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or
(iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping; and
(C) occur primarily outside the territorial jurisdiction of the United States, or transcend national boundaries in terms of the means by which they are accomplished, the persons they appear intended to intimidate or coerce, or the locale in which their perpetrators operate or seek asylum.

""appear to be intended—
(i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population;
(ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or
(iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping; and""" That fits the present, and almost everyday, actions of Israel to a T, and also describes Bush's Actions in invading Iraq.

Israel says that the kidnapping of two Israeli soldiers was an "Act of War", proobably true, but Hesbillah kidnapped the two Iraelis as hostages to trade for the thousands of Lebonese Prisoners Israel has kidnapped from Lebanon over the past 6 to 10 years, why isn't Israel's Kidnappings considered Acts of War?

Israel claims that Lebanon and Hezbellah are in violation of a UN Resolution, true again, but Israel Occupied Lebanon for 20 years in Violation of a UN Resolution demanding their withdrawal, and continues to ignore several Resolutions and World Court decisions that demand them to return all the land they seized in 67' to Egypt, Palestine, JOrdan, and Lebanon, why do we permit Israel to pick and choose what Resolutions they will follow and what ones they will go to War over?

By definition, United States of America is not a terrorist group. BUT its actions seems to indicated that it is a terrorist group. Since it got military and economic superiority, nobody dare to speak against 'em. Remember Iraq? US invaded Iraq without support from the world. The so call coalition of willing are merely a few countries looking out for their own country's butt by kissing up with US. Some were even bribed to join the coalition (Turkey). In the end how many country actually send fighting group to support the coalition? As far as I know only US and Britain do. The rest, they just send support group and peacekeeper. You call that a coalition?

The US had squandered the sympathy from around the world for 9-11 to do an act of aggression against an already half cripple middle east nation. That act in itself is like a terrorist. You think the real reason is really liberating Iraqi people and establish a democracy country in Iraq? Since when did US did anything that doesn't benefit itself?

Freedom for Iraqi people is far from the prime objective preach by Bush & Co. for the reason for the war. US need a pro-US country in the OPEC as well in the middle east region. Israel make too many enemy and Saudi Arabia is not 100% supportive of US actions. Iraq happen to be the best scapegoat. In the end did US really bring freedom for Iraqi people?

I don't see freedom anywhere. Infact what I see is Death, Misery, Civil war, Hunger, fundamentalism and more Death. In the end US brings more death and devastation than that Saddam could ever do in his lifetime. Saddam might be an asshole dictator, but at least he brought stability and secularizam into Iraq society. At least he is not fundamental/fanatic. After all how long do you think Saddam gonna live. He gonna die sooner or later. It is just that Bush family had a grudge against him, and feels that they must off Saddam ASAP. If a few thousand civilian died in the process well hey that the price for freedom. After all a terrorist have to do what a terrorist have to do to achieve "Freedom".

Israel was invaded by hezbollah and 8 soldiers were killed 2 were kidnapped. It doesn't matter what the reasons, are the act was committed. Israel hasn't kidnapped anyone...you have no substantiation to that claim.

Lebanon needs to enforce Resolution 1559. It needs to demilitarize its militia groups. So no Israeli soldiers have to die or be kidnapped.

Israel is gave back territory to the Palestinians. It gave back territory to the Egyptians (Sinai). Its gave most of the Golan Heights back to Syria-Lebanon.

So what's your point?????

Israel is just the Muslim Extremists excuse for attempting to force their Medieval fanatical beliefs on everyone including moderate Muslims.

If you don't care that they have killed Americans and our allies for decades, how can you explain that they are killing people in India, Indonesia, The Philippines, Russia, other Muslims in Iraq and wanting to start a "Holy War" in Africa?? None of that has anything whatsoever to do with America, Israel, or "The West".

They don't seem to be able to get along with anyone. But you, (expletives deleted) are so eager to blame us that you turn a blind eye to all that.
I'm probably wasting my breath talking to the likes of you.

If you hate your own country so much that you can't even see who is the real evil cause of all the violence, I suggest you go over and join them.

Those laws read like a history textbook of US agression. The US is constantly trespassing and blowing small countries to smithereens. This very day US made bombs are dropping from US made planes on innocent people in small far away countries that just don't want have their land and oil stolen. Can't the US be successful without being a thief and bully? Can't the US mind it's own business for a change? When will it stop?
Thanks for displaying those laws.

When you say the "USA" you are stereotyping everyone from the usa and most of us are not for the wars we are involved in and probably think our government should mind thier own business. Unfortunately our military has to follow the orders of our president aka commander in chief, and he is a cowboy who is quick to fly off the handle and not admit his mistakes at any cost. If you questioned our military you would probably find out that most of them do not want to be involved in the middle east crisisses eother. Blame it on our government, not our people.

USA is using it's power to control the world and is interfering in the internal matters of the other countries in the name of peace or nuclear peace they are not allowing other power to come up before them so that they have their ultimate say in everything in the world to my mind to use power to control something is terrorism and that is exactly what USA is doing
they are also taking eye for an eye which will leave the world blind some day
they are also dubious in controlling terror as they are supporting terrorist supporting states
let us hope we do not go to a point of no return

we give billions of dollars in aid money to all other countries, when there are disasters we are the first there to help out. We give money to countries that hate us. We are not terrorist... When a countries leader kills their own people we intervene yes. We made a mistake by pulling out of Iraq and leaving a shia to lead a sunni population.. They hate us because we are free.

Settle down, Beavis. Everything will be fine once you put down your crack pipe, sober up and start thinking for yourself. Stop taking what Cindy Sheehan and Michael Moore are feeding you.
