Buy and wrap 50 of his favorite candies (or get someone else to wrap them for you)
and/or
Make him a card from family photos (copies, of course) from throughout his life, in a sort of mini-scrapbook (each page has a one-sentence "memory" and photo[s]) with a happy birthday message at the end.
I hope you feel better!

FIrst of all I hope you get to feeling better and take care of yourself. The BIG 50 is an exciting time, but I think your husband will just love being with you.
However, if you'd like to give him something special and you're up for it....invite your close friends over and have a nice dinner together. Toast him, alcohol is not needed, and tell him how wonderful he is and how much you love him.
There's probably so many more things that you could do for him but after being under the weather, you don't need to over do it and I'm sure he understands this completely.
God Bless,

If you cant go out ,bring th fun to him , hire a cook ,make a strong dinner ,get wine , set a beautiful table, candles ,music and dance ,dine and talk to him , then hire a girl that can pop out of the cake for the happy birthday song, just you and him or you can invite friends , make it simple and romantic ,then if you are up to , leave the candles and take him to bed!

I don't even know him, but I am quite sure that he will not be expecting a huge event, considering the circumstances. If it was me, I would like to be surrounded by family and friends, and a couple of balloons with food and cake, but that's just me. Good luck!

Bring laughter into his heart! Bribe his male bonding friends to dress up as female strippers and give him a tease he'll never forget! If you haven't been feeling well ....get them to think it's all their idea and let them plan the whole thing! After all......a friend in need is a friend indeed!

I like to name this "misplaced dog" syndrome. Some females (actually particularly plenty) have a tendancy to decide upon up guys who've issues (although you do not are aware of it but) and want "support". This is practically the similar of getting a 30 or forty 12 months historic youngster. The hindrance lies once we decide upon up the dogs and get not anything in go back, or they do not gain knowledge of. I bought fortunate, and the final misplaced dog I picked up honestly desired to gain knowledge of to higher himself, and we are actually married and I am very joyful. My recommendation, go back the dog to the pound. You sound like it is a very poisonous courting.

Darling, let a friend help you set the table, order chinese or whatever food he likes, put on some romantic music, write him a beautiful and loving note. also let your friend prepare a bubble bath, with rose petals and candles. lots of it, also on the bed. put on your sexiest/classy night gown, cuddle in bed. and make love passionately, be daring, because; We only have one life to live, enjoy it to the fullest.
Bless you....
