inorganic can mean that the mineral cannot be found naturally in the earth and may have to be man made or is a combination of two different ...things. (it's late)

i can't really remember, but if in doubt check the wikipedia.

Inorganic minerals are inorganic because they are not made in or by the human body. These inorganic minerals are found in soil which is then absorbed by plants which then we eat and therefore absorb the minerals that our body requires to be healthy (example: potassium, which we need and we can get from eating bananas)

Organic materials contain Carbon. So inorganic minerals probably don't contain Carbon.
