i am wanting a dog that is small. maybe 5 to 10 pounds. any good answers?

Yorkshire Terrier, Toy American Eskimo. Those would be my top picks, not too yappy and teeny tiny cute.

If you like playful fun dog that aren't afaird of everything, Rat terrier or mini pinchester are good choice.
If you like a very loving dog, pomermerian are great. They can be pretty playful as well
I would avoid chichichua. They're alway scared and grumpy.

Chihuahuas, terriers and Jack Russell terriers (a little bigger) are all good choices. I have 2 Chihuahuas and 1 boxer - not a good mix.

Have you considered a pomeranian - the cute little fluff ball?
Or, maybe a chiuahuah. Possibly, a rat terrier?

chihuahua's your best choice, Terrier breeds might reach to more than 10 pounds

Mine is a little more then that but he's a Pomeranian. They are well behaved and you can train them really easy. I have had mine for like 6 years and he's been great.

Yorkies are the best. they don't need much excerise, the don't shed, and they're great pets, but you do have to groom them daily.
