Gee I have a story for you:

I worked at the mall and this guy who also worked there kept asking me out, at first I said no, it just didn't feel right, but he kept bugging me and bugging me until finally I said yes.

I still didn't feel to good about it so I told him that I could not stay out to late because I had to get up really early to pick up my friend at the airport. (I figured if the date went bad That was my excuse and if it went good I could just tell him I would deal with it)

Strike 1: We left after work at about 9:30 p.m. and we got to the door, he opened it, walked out and let it close on me.

Strike 2: We walked to his VW bus and he went to the drivers side got in and leaned over to unlock my door.

Strike 3: We stopped at the corner store to buy some beer. (and if that were not insulting enough I don't even drink beer)

Then we went to the park where he proceeded to want to make out in that damned bus of his.

I quickly retreated using my escape story and he proceeded to yell at me. I told him what I thought about him and took a cab home. and he had the nerve to come to my work the next day. I had my boss throw him out.

I guess that just goes to show you that you need to trust your instincts all the time.

The worst date I ever went on was a fix up, (after a divorce) with my best friends' brother in law. He talked about everything he didn't like, people he didn't like, made rude remarks to people around us, and was very obnoxious. He'd never been married, and was already 37 with no kids. That should have been my first clue. After about 1 1/2 hrs of his "ME" talk, I got a very bad migraine and had to go home.

Went to a very nice dinner at an exclusive restaurant (one and only blind date favor for friend. They paid) then off for a fun filled surprise evening at Starvin Marvin's a burlesque like strip club. HA! I went swiftly home and took weeks before I spoke to my friend again. The guy thought is was a normal first date place ...ya and for a moment or two he seemed normal. Maybe his parents met there I don't know. I got to know someone first after that. Gosh where do they grow them?

It was my second and LAST date with a guy, I'll call him Hal, as in SHALLOW HAL. I made it very clear that I didn't want to be the one to make plans, it was up to him, and if he didn't make the plans, that I would have a backup that he would hate. Well, we used my back up. After that we went back to my place, just to hang out, well, one thing led to another and we were making out, he looked at me and said "I love you." and naturally I said "NO You Don't." He left all butt hurt, let me say that again, it was our SECOND DATE, we hadn't known each other more than a month or so, but either way... it was the second date.

I was hanging out with this new guy and we were discussing various world/life issues. He kept getting agitated that I would take an opposing stance even though he knew I agreed with him on some things. When he questioned why I kept going against him, I stated I liked playing the "Devil's Advocate". He looked at me questioningly and said "I never saw that movie" . . .needless to say we did NOT hang out together after that. Kind of hard communicating with someone when you are on different planes.

My worst date. Had to be when I was set up on a blind date by a so called friend. This guy got a little too ruff ...lets just say--he came close to raping me...I got out of the car and had a police officer who luckily happen to come along, drive me home. I found out a month later that my blind date had been shot to death by his uncle ( because his uncle found him sexually assaulting his wife.)

Oh that's easy...
We went out to dinner...both of us were very shy. It was a train wreck! Not a SINGLE word was spoken thru the entire meal!! The waitress was afraid to come over to the table, no joke! LOL!
Needless to say, that was the first and last date, but we are still friends.

That would probably have to be the date I never went on because he stood me up. I had just broken up with my boyfriend at the time and he had suppossedly just broken up with his girlfriend, and he was suppossed to pick me up at my house. Up until that point, we had just been friends because we had both been dating people, but after the break-ups I confessed that I had a crush on him, and we were talking about dating. Well, he stood me up and to this day he hasn't spoken to me again. He also had never stopped dating his girlfriend that he suppossedly broke up with.
