One cold, hard fact of life is that when a nation declares war, there are soldiers on both sides trying to make their country the winner. It comes down to greed, just like someone robbing a store. They want something you have and are willing to kill you to get it. When someone is determined to kill you, the only answers are to either lay down and die or fight for your life. Kill or be killed. This is true of individuals or nations. Santions? Do you not sanction your police to kill, if necessary, in your name? Of course you do.

"We sleep well at night because rough men with guns guard our borders . . ." I think that was Mark Twain.

There are a lot of people out there who want to kill you. You, specifically. The way I see it, you have two choices; 1. Let them. 2. Fight them.

I'm willing to die for this country. But you can be damn sure I'm willing to kill for it first. My survival instinct tells me that means I'd kill about 5.7 billion people (6 billion minus 300 million Americans) if it came to that.

It's good to have friends.

Because over the centuries people have tried not fighting back and the violent aggressors just keep on killing. If they don't kill you outright, they put you in slave labor camps and work and starve you to death. They never stop unless someone stands up to them. So you would let them enslave and kill your family or friends and do nothing?????
