i have a friend who is a boy :-). he is very kind to me. he may like me, but i am not sure about it.
Last week, he must fly to work in another country for 1 year. On his departure day, I was sick so I couldnt see him off at the airport. I called him to say sorry about it. And he said: " U are sick since u lack of 1 thing - a boy friend"
What is the meaning of his sentence? What is he thinking?

sweetheart, it depends on how he said it, because i could read it as though he ment forget me find somebody else, or it could be read as, you're lacking me in your life. so its really up to you, was he mean about it, was he joking/laughing/smiling? now days girls make the first move too, its not the good old days where you had to wait to see if he'll ever open up. maybe his shy or maybe he doesnt feel the same. call him, talk to him, see how he replies to your questions or your conversation, dont be affraid to ask him how he feels if your still unsure.
PS. i read all of your questions that you have asked and seems like it may be the say guy (im assuming and forgive me if im wrong) but if its the same guy, listen up.
just because you like a guy doesnt mean that you have to be treated like this. if he really liked you the same way you did toward him, he wouldnt put you in this position. long distance relationshiops are really hard, BUT can you can still keep it a relationship if both feel the same way about eachother. \
hun its ur life, waiting around for someone that doesnt feel the same way about is just a waste of time, move on, there are other fishes in the pond, and the goldfish is waiting for your bait. but if he does really feel the same towards you, make a trip, ask him to make a trip. visit eachother,
emotions change over time, be patient. but dont waste your time worrying about something that is not meant to be.

Well what do you think he is talking about?? Probably you! Obviously he thinks you are more (or at least mean more to him) than just his friend. Do you have more than just "friendly" feelings for him?? What is the best way to find out?? Ask him! That is the only way you'll know for sure. Call him....bring it up like this...say, "I was just wondering....You said something the other day.... " U are sick since u lack of 1 thing - a boy friend".....what exactly did you mean when you told me that on the phone the other day?" Or just tell him how you feel (if you really like him more than a friend). What is the worst he can say, no I just want to be your friend. At least you'll still have a great person in your life. As far as waiting one year....it is up to you to decide if he is really worth waiting for or not. Yes, one year sucks, but at least it is not any longer. Keep yourself busy, communicate daily, and it will all work out and be worth it. Good luck!

he was either trying to warn u that he likes u or he was trying to make u feel better by making a joke about u being sick. or both.
better than being extremely bored cuz ur friend wont come im! and he is the bf of one of my best friends so i am in a sticky situation. at least he sort of invited me to go to his birthday party thingo

Yes, I think he does like you. But the question is do you feel the same way? If so then good. If not then bad.....very bad. Ask him don't be shy baby girl. GO 4 what you know.

I'm not sure, it could mean he's concerned for you. He wants you to be happy and for you too have someone too love, or he really likes you and wants to be with you. You have to discuss it with him, over email. It may be unconfortable but how will you know unless you try?

yea i think that is a sign that he likes you but dont go out with him while he is on his bisnees trip if you really like me just wait till he gets back and if you are free call him up and this should be all good

For me, he's just telling that you need to be happy even though he's gone, w/c means you need someone who can replace him for a while.........hope that this will help....
