Whoever did the inviting pays. Now, you can hold strictly to bygone traditions if it works for you and he. But, if it is a casual date, or first date, and you're not sure about wanting a future with it, go 'Dutch', thus establishing neutral territory. No one owes anyone anything other than a pleasant time. No pressures, and you both find out if you would like to continue dating.

yes i always do no matter what unless they feel that the traditional gender rolls are of the past and now they want to split it 50-50. some girls do gender rolls and some do not. and if they offer i always say no but if they insist ill ask them why.
