Wow, have you been living with mom all this time, or are you just living with her now so you can take care of her? If you want a chance with women, you need to explain your situation to them up front so they can (hopefully) understand that you're not just some loser who still lives at home. Just understand if she doesn't want to go back to your place after a date, because that will be a little awkward with mom at home. Not to be inconsiderate or anything, but wouldn't it be better if you found your mom her own apartment so you could live on your own? You could still help her out with things, but you'd have your independance and more of a chance of finding a woman.

45 and living at home? You need to grow up and get the hell out. No woman is going to want to come to your house when you live with your mom. Yes you may find one that will love you but finding a place of your own will not hurt. Good Luck!

If your serious, there is still hope. Except for a 3 year stint in the military, my brother lived at home until he was 39, then married the love of his life. They've been married 20 years now.
