i don't think you're racist....if you hated all black people then yes you would be.
all you are saying is you would never date a black woman.
would you still be friends with a african-american? if you would then you arn't.
its just like an african saying "i won't date a white man" but she will still be friends(maybe) but she has female white friends....

Everyone should feel free to have their own preferences: example, some men prefer Brunettes to Blondes, some men prefer women with a big butt. Some women prefer a tall man to a short man, etc...
Perhaps your choice of calling black women "repulsive" is what would offend some people and lead them to think your are acting racist. Maybe saying that you don't feel attracted to black women might be a better way to say it?
However, I find that there is beauty in woman of all races, and I try to see and accept the individual person (and not just the physical appearance) rather than judging by their race. Try to have an open mind, and you may be plesantly surpised.

Almost all non blacks in the US are racist to some extent. Its virtually impossible to grow up in our socieity and not be affected by racism. You are probably not the exception, and your use of the word repulsive makes me wonder.
That doesn't mean you should feel bad or guilty about this. Its not your fault.Youve been bombarded by lots of messages that affected your attitude.
That said no one can or should force you to date, or have sex with anyone you don't want to, and if you feel comfortable around black men and women, and have friends who are black, then
who you feel you would be comfortable being a couple with or having sex with isn't important at all.
If you feel uncomfortable around all black men and women then you might think about how this is affecting and limiting your life, and try when you have the chance to get to know some black people better.

You are not a racist, you are just unenlightened. I have seen women of all colors who can stop an eight day clock. And I have seen women of all races who can make you die with a smile on your face that the mortician can't get off no matter what. Same thing about men. When you get more mature you will realize, as I have, that the world has only two kinds of people on it; assholes and not assholes. If we did not have politicians and religious zealots to ferment war and discontent I would bet that most people would get along together quite well. The color of the candy wrapper has nothing to do with the taste of the candy bar.

I,personally, do not think that it makes you a racist. The heart wants what it wants. If you are not attracted to someone, for whatever reason, there is no law stating that must be around, or date, them. Some men love skinny women, and some love VERY large women. Women are the same way. Some love the beefed up GQ type, and then some love geeks. Everyone is different. It's like asking if you love Coke or Pepsi. WHO CARES?!?!?! The only one who's opinion really matters when it comes to your preferences is....(wait for it)....YOU.

Actually a black woman has attributes that I have not found with any other woman. No you aren't racist, but you are phobic. Don't worry, there are blacks that have the same phobias. And there are black racists. The people I have found that are the most racist are the Apache's. They still have a deep hatred for palefaces.

nah, you just prefer certain women over others, it's your decision and choice but I gotta tell you, you're certainly missing out on some wonderful girls out there. Believe it or not, you can't assume all of us to be repulsive, be it physically, mentally, and emotionally; there are some exceptions out there that are wonderful, intelligent, beautiful women, you just gotta look in the right places for us. But like I said, it's your decision and you have every right to feel that way; I just hope that maybe one day you'll meet a distinguished woman such as myself to teach you that not all of us are repulsive...

Well, the 'wouldn't even consider one' sounds kind of strong. I understand that people are commonly attracted to their own race. I mean my husband is white and so am I. So, yes, I think for some reason, maybe its because they are similar to our own families that bring us comfort, people generally date in marry in their own races. But just be sure that you would afford any other race the same opportunities of any others. We need to question ourselves continually because we need to recognize the humanity of every other human and acknowledge that they have the same needs and wants and desires and deserve them. But what you find personally satisfying for a life-mate doesn't make you a racist.

Yes, I believe you are racist if you apply this to "all" black women! Obviously you do not know or have seen all black women, so it cannot be a preference in my opinion.

YOU ARE ALLOWED PREFERENCES LKE EVERYONE ELSE.
BUT WHAT YOU ARE DOING IS GENERALIZING.
SURE YOU'VE SEEN OR MET BLACK WOMEN WHO ARE REPULSIVE BUT YOU ARE SAYING IT LIKE ALL BLACK WOMEN ARE LIKE THAT AND YOU HAVE NEVER MET ALL OF US.
YOU DON'T KNOW MT ATTITUDE OR HOW I CARRY MYSELF.
AND BE MORE SPECIFIC,WHAT EXACTLY DO YOU FIND REPULSIVE?
SKIN COLOR
HAIR TEXTURE
WHAT?
GOD MADE US JUST LIKE HE MADE YOU AND EVERYONE IS BEAUTIFUL.
BUT UNFORTUNATELY YOU CAN'T SEE THAT.
YOU ONLY SEE THE OUTSIDE.
ONE DAY YOU MAY BE IN TROUBLE AND A "REPULSIVE" BLACK WOMEN MAY BE THE ONLY ONE TO HELP YOU.
FEATURES ARE NOT WHAT MATTERS.
WHAT'S INSIDE IS WHAT MATTERS.
THE SAD THING IS,I'VE MET GUYS JUST LIKE YOU BUT THEY WERE BLACK,NOT WHITE.
AND CALLING ME REPULSIVE IS DEFINATELY AN INSULT.
