I am divorced and I am raising my daughter so I don't have much time for myself to go out, plus I don't drink so I don't go to the bars so can some tell me a good place for a shy guy to met a girl.

I never understood people like you asking this question. I mean you're divorced; so you haven't always been totally shy. You have a child; you're no virgin. How do you ask "how do I speak to women because I'm shy", and it's obvious you spoke to at least ONE in your lifetime?? My mom says the same thing (who's been divorced from my dad for almost 30 years), and she's in her 50s. Why on Earth would you/could you be shy after being (a) divorced, and (b) with children???
I don't understand why people are "shy" anyway. People are people. Everybody puts their pants on one leg at a time.
You will get rejected; you will be hated, you will be loved, you will be obsessed over. It's life. See someone you like? Talk to them. Just T A L K.

I've heard that art classes and dance classes are good places to meet women. Just go up to one of your classmates and make a funny comment or something. They won't bite, you know. If you can't think of anything, just ask for their phone numbers. You may have to ask for dozens of numbers before you find a girl that you like and who likes you back, but it doesn't cost anything but a bit of your time to get the numbers. The faster they give you their number, the better your chances are. Don't call too soon, or too often, or stay on the phone longer than necessary to get the date. Good luck!

I think if i were in that situation, i would take my (your) daughter out to a bowling aley, or some place like that. look for women that are your type, and try to gather up your courage to talk to them, i know that you said you are shy, but ask your daughter to help you!
That is what i would do!
