i think the sweetest date i ever went on.. was when my bf took me to the beach at sunset... took a walk, then went up to the lifeguard chairs because they left.. and had a picnic up there and watched the stars.. he brought blankets and candles and chocolate covered strawberries.. OMG that was a night i will never forget!! also, i love amusement parks.. they're a lot of fun to go to with your date.. win something for her.. girls love that =]
good luck.. xox- manda

It all depends on the kinda girl your dating....some suggestions I would like to do: Rock Climbing, Caving, go for a ride in a canoe, Museum, Festival, Fishing, A picnic...Anything where you are actually interacting instead of looking at a big screen...I mean how much can you learn about someone while watching a movie..its pretty limited..best advise.. be creative as possible... and do something where it involves the two of you interacting at the same time..Like rock climbing can be done.. and Caving would be interesting if there was any caves around.. cause than you could experience something new together if never have done that..But some girls just don't like that kinda stuff which all goes back to what kinda girl she is.. some might enjoy just a nice dinner and an evening stroll.. others a trip to the museum....or a festival....

where do you live? country vs city makes a big difference. my ex and i used to get fresh pastries from the bakery and walk to a bench by the lake. i am also very fond of the planetarium for a date. concerts are fun, and you have plenty to talk about when it's over. one of my first dates with my sweetie was on a haunted hayride, which was actually very innocent and fun. i also like spontaneous dates: get in the car a drive to a little town you've never visited, then poke around for something new. museums make good date locations, maybe modern art if you're into that.

My favorite place is a flower/sculpture garden. It has a sidewalk cafe to sit and enjoy the gardens. If there is such a place in your area, the first date could be an afternoon date walking thru the gardens, and stopping by the courtyard cafe for a drink.

go ice skating, swimming, go to theme parks or some other activity other than dinner and a movie. this way you are not pressured to talk or to entertain each other
