What are you supposed to bring to school on the first day of high school?

I am a High School teacher, in general all you need is a pen/pencil and spiral.

I wouldnt worry about a back pack, depending on your school you may not have your locker yet and there could be a wait going through security. You teachers will should tell you their material requirements that day. Good luck!

your school will probably tell you and you should have an orientation before the school starts too, so as the people who take you arround because every school is different!

But at least bring something to write and write on!

for my school the first day is basically :
pictures
get your final schedule
an assembly for your grade
sign up to buy yearbooks

and after that is 20min for each class, which is VERY quick!
the teacher will introdunce themselves and tell you about what supples to get for their class( some teachers are VERY PICKY) and they'll pass out like how to behave in their class and info on what you are going to learn. there is also stuff for your parents and you to sign and read. like what the teachers passed out and this media thing so they can take pictures of you for school events and also a agreement for computer using (like, you are not suppose to go on AIM in school, no games, only for school work)

its a fun and relaxing day, but u'll probably get hw the VERY next day

again. everyschool is differet! thats just my school

Your teachers or school may or may not have put a school supply list together on their website. If not, I would say a folder with at least 15 pages of loose leaf paper and both a pen and paper.

probably your school supplies- alll of them to put in your locker- im in middle school 8th grade so yeah. but im pretty sure a bookbag with all of your school supplies is good enough-plus your always assigned something on the first day [saddly]
