I am 32 years old interested in a 44 year old woman who is like wise interested in me. I dated a 22 year old and it went sour fast. Could it work the other way around?

Of course it can work and not just because the younger one failed. She might of been too immature whereas this one has been around the block and probably not into games and stuff. My husband is 15 years older than I am. Age shouldn't be an issue if you both like each other. You were probably more mature than the 22 year old. Men might like a young chick on their arms, but sometimes there is nothing upstairs to keep you interested. Give this an honest shot, you may be surprised. Good luck to you both.

Sure it can! I have a friend who is 35 and he has been dating (soon to be married) this 45 yr old woman for 3 years. They have a lot of fun together and I really like it when they come over to visit. She does get concerned about when she hits 50 and he's 40, if he might wander. But he really loves this woman and age means nothing when two people love each other. Give it a chance and you might have found your soul mate. Good luck and hope it all works out for the better.

I don't think that will work.Age is not the cause of your separation find a 42 years old women will not resolve anything.Just look back and try to understand what happened,what errors have you made,why didn't that relationship work.Then with your next girlfriend you try to correct the errors you have made when you were with the last one.So it's not necessary to look for a women 10 years older than you.But your relationship with her can work.If the reason why you broke up with the 22 years old is her immaturity then the 42 years old women can be fine.I say "CAN" not "WILL" 'cause we never know.

It might work, but I think you'll be cheating yourself if you go out with her. When you get to be 42, she'll be 54. There will definitely be issues there. Hell, my dad is 73 and he's only now starting to really slow down with the women. I'm 21, by the way. Good luck!
