i have been dating someone for 8 months. he professes his love for me always, and wants to marry. we live in different states. this is the problem: he is still talking to his ex girlfriend on almost a daily basis. he told me in the beginning they were only friends. yet she is NEVER brought up in conversation. and if i bring her up, the conversation is quickly changed. he never will talk to her in front of me. when she calls, he does not answer if i am there. my concern is that if they are such good friends, why is there so much secrecy on the matter? i have to tell him how i feel, but cannot seem to because i am afraid that i will come off as a jealous maniac. this is really bothering me to the point where i am beginning to reconsider our relationship. how can i talk to him about this without seeming bitter or controlling. thanks.

look if he's talking marriage then you have a right to know what's really going on b4 you take a serious step like that...ask him everything that you put in this and if he dont wanna answer...leave...

If he cares for you, he should be open and honest and talk to you about it. Take my advice, learned the hard way, don't be with any man who lies to you, keeps secrets from you or has a girl on the side who he keeps from you. He is not mature enough to marry, he would only cheat on you. Take your time, don't rush it.

never get married unless your not sure that your the only woman she love and will love forever and his last love...got it?otherwise your inconfidence to him will just lead to a broken marriage....best thing to do is tell everything you want, open communication is one of best thing in a relationship, without this is a failed relationship..its necessary..."talk often and open"...good luck!and keep prayin..
