I like my name for a few reasons.
First I'm named after a somewhat famous outlaw of the old west, which I think is neat. Secondly because my mother and father couldn't decide on a name so my father's best friend (whom I'm not even remotely related to) named me.

Besides, it's better than my mother's choice of Legolas.

I go by nothing at all really but 'mavisknows' is my yahoo! name. I think I may be Mavis. Of that, I am still not 100% sure. In either case, I like the name Mavis very much. It has a nice ring to it.

Mine's Amanda, and I don't like it.

I wish it'd been something pretty, like Hikari or Amaya. I love Japanese names.

I used to not, but I actually like it now. It's not a name you see every day, but it's not completely odd, either.

But if ever move to Spain, like I want to, then I'm going to start spelling it like "Síncia" so Spaniards will pronounce it correctly. Right now, they call me "Thintia" because of their accent, and I'm not crazy about that pronunciation.

I do, because it represents the Italian part of my heritage, even though my parents gave me some other name so I had to dub myself Sofia in honor of my Grandfather.
