I'm going to buy my first car and i'm looking for one that is safe and decent looking (meaning a cute car, not an old person car). Any tips? Dealerships to go to?

VW Jetta TDI, 2003 or older

it will get up to 48 mpg, VERY efficient, nice looking, and extremely safe with side air bags and everything!

if you want something even cuter, you can get a VW Beetle TDI... they get great gas mileage, but not as great as the Jetta

good luck!

Honda Civic
Saturn Ion
Dodge Viper

Be sure to read the Consumer Products book on buying automobiles. It's very, very helpful!

Honda or Accura. I worked in an auto repair shop. These cars will run forever if properly maintained.

i would look at a cavalier, or sunfire something compact. I wouldn't go to a dealership, just check your local paper and be patiant.

Civic, Cavalier, Sunfire, Corolla, Saturn.... don't get anything sporty, or you may pay a lot of insurance.
