Some people in a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship cheat because they are in that relationship for the wrong reasons like:
1. can't be seen single because what will my friends think;
2. need someone to "hang out" with;
3. need someone to have sex with.
In other words, some people are in relationships because of the fear of being alone. They are thinking short term - the "here and now". If they are confident of themselves, they will have the patiences to wait for the right person.
When these "cheaters" meet the right person, they are NOW thinking long term, like marriage, kids, a family life. So they stop cheating.
HOWEVER, once a cheat, always a cheat. (or can be)

Exactly...You answered your owm question. Because guys 9 times out of 10 will never meet the right person.

all guys are like that but most of the time they will cheat even after they have met the right person for then

that sounds like me! I've cheated on several of my bf's, but i haven't cheated on my current bf and know i never will. Maybe it's b/c I'm in love with him. i just don't have the urge to cheat. it's hard to explain. i don't even think about it really. and i used to be the type of girl who would cheat on the drop of a dime.

they play tricks on their minds w/ the wrong girl, then they really see the person inside the right person they met i guess,
