Very few people I know have ever gotten away with pulling off an elaborate scheme like that. I am sure you don't wanna hear this but what would happen if you got into an accident or kidnapped? your parents would have no idea where to look if you didn't turn up at home. Is it a day thing or an over night thing? Tell them you are going to hang out with one of the friends you plan on leaving with... then you aren't "lying" but not disclosing all the info ( but if you get caught they will consider it lying) Good luck, be safe. I don't suggest doing it, but kids will be kids.

heres what you do:
a few nights before the sneaking out, hang out w/ some friends and bring them over and show your parents they are cool and polite and respectful. then on the day, during the day say you're going somewhere with one of the friends to a spa, or the mall or anything. then during the night around 8, call and ask to sleep over the friends house. your parents will probably ask some questions, but eventually say yes. then turn your phone off and your friends and have fuuuuuun!!
--or... go with your friend during the day and stay out during the night. then when you return the next day make up some excuse that you told them, break down crying and be hysterical and say NO ONE EVER PAYS ATTENTION TO ME. i told you i was staying out. why does no one listen to me. am i invisible. it should make your parents believe you said something and they didnt listen, then make them feel bad.
or ask them to go out when they are busy doing bills or on the phone.
or just leave. and do the time when you get back.

So, you're 16 and already lying to your parents. You can't be up front about your plans so you are going to break the rules and go out. What's next? Speeding? Drugs? Gonna use a fake ID to drink all night and puke all day?

Grow up. Being an adult doesn't mean doing what you want, but learning wht's right and doing what's right.

u could say ur going over to your friend's house for a while while you're actually in the city. but itz not sucha good idea to lie to ur parents because u could be kidnapped or hurt. if they find out then you'll probably be grounded and have your privileges taken away. if you're really that desperate to go to the city then ask your mom and dad what you should do in order to convince them. that might work and it's the best way.

Tell your parents that you're going with your friends to a movie, then directly afterwards going to said friend's house for a sleepover. Have your friend tell their parents the same thing. An all-night sneak-out fest for you.

Why defy your parents..you will only suffer in the long run and run a risk of getting caught and suffering nasty consequences, even if you do not get caught immediately..
Anyone who gives you advise on doing this, even on line, can be charged with "contributing to the delinquency of a minor" or a similar charge if they are over 18..

Not trying to be mean or hateful, just honest.. My birth mother tried to charge people with this just for talking to me when I was under 18, Its a long story I might share someday...

DON'T DO IT! Your parents need to know where you are at all the time. God forbid something bad happens to you. You could wind up dead and they wouldn't know where you were at or what happened. It's for your own safety that I'm telling you that sneaking out is a VERY bad idea.

Just run through the house yelling, " I'm not sneaking off to the city!" Then run out the door...

LoL, tell them you are going to a sleep over party at one of your friends church. Church excuses usually work, If you can avoid your parents wanting to talk to the other parents, like my mom always did.
