my ex and i were together for two years, then i started working every time so i can get a new car, she was against it, saying that i work too hard, so i started hiding it from her whenever i work, telling her sometimes that i am at my friends house but actually at work. at a point she thouhgt i was cheating on her. she broke up with me. I'm still in love with her, i need help getting her back but don't want to appear desperate. i am currently seeing somebody but i don't feel a connection with this new person.

U need to give it sometime there ,my friend. Do U ever think that U and U'r ex R not on the same wave length, U seem to have U'r priorities straight and U have some goals. There's nothing wrong with that, and if U'r ex doesn't see that U want to better U'r self then perhaps she wants to hold U back so that U don't have something that she doesn't have or if she already has wheels then she probably doesn't want U to get Ur own co's then U can't go very far and that's just how she wants U.
Just a thought.
U sound like U want to acquire things in life and some wheels is a great way to start.

The two of you have to sit down and have a long serious talk about the various misunderstandings and other factors that led to your break-up.
Only then can you discern whether the relationship is worth resurrecting, and then you can determine whether she agrees. If both are positive, you can work at it, but if it is not worth reviving, or if she is adamant that she does not want to try again, you will be better off with someone else.

And if you feel no connection to the new person - you don't say how long you've been dating - you have to ask yourself why not? And if you want to go back to your ex you are not being fair to your current lady friend.

She should appreciate the fact that you actually work for something you want! She seems like a brat that wants her way only. Move on and find the one that appreciates the work you do. You should not have to lie to a partner because you are going to work!

Get rid of the car to show how much you need her

Let her go and move on. You can't force someone to love you and if you love her, you will want her to be happy no matter what.

don't worry so much about the new car. yes, new cars are nice but the old one will seem so much better with her in it. relax, take it slow.
