i can't ever seem to find a guy, I think it because im pretty shy and look really young, though im 19. any suggestions on how/ where to find nice guys? (even just for friends)

Do you go to school? Maybe you could meet friends through school or work. Also, make new "girl friends" they may have guy friends that you could hang out with.
Just don't worry about it...you may be lonely, but don't push it. It/he will come along. I was 19 before I had my first boyfriend...now I'm 32 (married for 7 years now with 2 kids) I had lots of boyfriends in between and had lots of fun.

I don't think the problem is a lack of access to guys... it sounds like your shyness would follow you everywhere. Maybe you should take time to ask yourself why you are so shy. What are you afraid of? Sure you might try to talk to a man and say something dopey, or blush a lot, but you might also meet someone great. I bet you have friends and family who will tell you that you have a lot to offer.

same here.. I can never find a guy, because I look like a kid and am pretty quiet. So I think the best for us girls, is to just let him come to you. Rest assure that there is someone for everyone in the world! :)

Go to public places/events and if you catch someone lookin' at you, go over and say hi! It takes a bit to get used to it if you're really shy, but what's the worst that can happen??

Go to a youth center and try avoid the cafe a good place would be day care, library, or other areas that arn't "cool"

look around you at work or school or anywhere for that matter, nice guys are pretty much everywhere. get your confidence together and go up to one and start chattin!! good luck

school, work, clubs, id say church but some of those people are crazy, friends of friends, cmon now you've met guys before you know you have.
