Cream cheese works too. Please be careful with Kong's. When your dog gets bigger it will be able to demolish the Kong. I work at an animal hospital and we have seen many dogs chew apart and swallow a kong. Not a good thing.

Peanut Butter. When we got our puppy we got some Kong spray from the pet store. It was peanut butter. It is a good treat if you want them to go poop! Never fails with our puppy.

Actually, the Kong brand also makes a treat to put inside of the toys. Check the local pet store or Petsmart if there is one nearby.

I use peanut butter for my dogs kongs, they also sell special spray stuff at petstores for them that have different flavors, or try like that spray cheese. But I think peanut butter is the cheapest way to go.
