i was told i could burn a cd using my windows media player, but how?? i have windows 98 is that the problem??

if you can get a new enough version of widnows media player it should work.

That could be a contibuting factor. When I burn CD"s(have XP) using Media Player 10, first I rip them to my library. Then when I hit burn, I just look up what tracks or album, and go from there. See if you can rip them, then try it. I don't know much about 98 SE,but it's worth a shot!

No windows 98 is not the problem so to speak. You will have to pay for the download from Microsoft. The newer ones do come with that feature. So either pay for the download or upgrade. I would say just go to staples and get windows xp.

Can your computer burn cds.? If so the directions are below.

Create a playlist. Then go to burn or rip cd. Put a blank cd in then press burn.

idk but u have 2 rip the music on to the computer and then get a cd-r disc and then burn it
