We really both like each other, however the problem is that he always travels a lot for business and he always have family get togethers with his brothers and sisters families. The last time we saw each other was two weeks ago. I live in MD. He in PA. So we are approximately 200 miles from each other. He is a workalcholic. He calls me about two nights a week. Sometimes three depending on his schedule. I really care for him, but I know in my heart eventually we will go in different directions. He's been divorced for over a year. I am sure he doesn't want to have a "committed relationship". what should I do. My heartaches when I think of him day and night.

200 miles apart isn't that far....I guess you have to ask yourself if you want a long distance relationship and he has to ask himself the same question. If you both agree to certain 'rules' it could work. Rules meaning...trust. You say that you are sure that he doesn't want to have a committed relationship...how about you? What do you want? If you want a committed relationship and he doesn't...well, thats a problem no matter what the distance. If he travels alot and goes to family get togethers, then he should be able to make time for you....if he doesn't make time, then you should enjoy his company when you see him and make sure that you have a life in PA and not expect too much from him...as you said, he doesn't want a committed relationship.

200 miles? What part of PA is he in? I'm in PA too, but that's really not too terrible of a long distance. Buuut, it definitely sounds like you want an actual relationship. If he's "hot", I'm sure he has no problem finding other chicks. No offense, and I don't know him, buuuut...I have my suspicions.

IMO, you should either get the answer you're looking for or move on. Too many women hold on for waaay too long thinking a guy is going to change. 99% of them won't. Sorry.

try focusing on something else like a hobbie or something and remind yourself that breaking up is probably for the best.
