I have never heard of WordPerfect 99, but WordPerfect is far superior to MS Word. At one point Microsoft made them quite incompatible.

I am not sure if this will work for you.

Try just going to file...save as...then on that window you enter the name of your document with a .doc extension. Below you should see...type of file...on the drop-down arrow match the closest version of MS Word that you can get to the one at school. Hope this works.

it might have been smart to let us know what you used to create the rfile. i anticipate you created the rfile with yet another observe processor. you have 2 techniques particularly, a million) keep the rfile as undeniable text fabric employing (keep as and selecting a text fabric somewhat than despite is the default on your observe processor), yet while that's a complicated formatted rfile you will loose each and all of the formatting doing this. 2) examine the "keep as" techniques on your observe processor. in case you're employing open place of work working example it may keep a rfile as a observe .rfile report somewhat of the default that it makes use of.
