Now I KNOW you know Bono already asked this, why are you repeating His Egoship's questions?

Infact it is very simple.
Its called equality.
If we all live to be equal then life would be easy for every single person.
An average life is not bad at all.
ITs acuttlay just perfect.
Now we look at donald trump and then to a kid over in chicago crying becuz he hasnt eaten or he has no house.
Yet there is dondald trump, gates, and hefner sitting in there houses smiling, and enjoying there billions.
How is that even close to equal.
We have to slove poverty in are own country before we can just go global.
Who ever looks at man that lives in the same country and says to them i will not give you money instead i will give money to anouther person in anouther country.
There is a problem here....and that is other countries should figure out how to fix their problems that they have.
Yet NO ONE DOES!
Why would this be?
Becuase there is no equality.
I do hope one day that every one will stand and say i want to be average, i dont want to be rich and i dont want to be poor.
I want to live with what i need to live with.
There are many problems that arise when speaking about equality...i no one day those problems can easly be dealt with, the real question is does any one want to give up living in luxury to live normal and to let others live normal also.
No poors no rich just average.
We could all work becuz we wanted to work for equality.
Can global proverty "effectivly" abolished only if "we" effectivly abolish it.

The only way is for governments to stop corruption and power play. Poverty is created by the governments to control people. No amount of crying by Bono and all of them will stop it. The people in power have to stop playing games with people's lives. You can throw all the money and food and medicine you want but unless the governments change the way the run the country forget about abolishing poverty.

I am afraid that poverty will never be truly abolished, but we can help to diminish it as much as possible and we should not look to profit from the really poor peoples of the world.

We could start with this:

1) Food - Help them plant their own food (Fruit trees, Vegetables, etc). This is better than no food. The Vegetarian diet.

2) Shelter - Help them to build their homes, huts, wooden houses, etc.

3) Clothes

4) Medical help

5) Education

I believe that these are the basics of life. Once they are well educated, prosperity will follow.

Abolish Poverty? Simple, the problem has been solved by, among others, the USA & the moral tool of capitalism. The enlightenment is key though, you can't just dump 'capitalism' on tribes & say GO! They need a rational foundation to life & existence.

It can't be. Because for most of the countries of the world, if you alleviate their poverty, they'll just have more kids and be right back to square one.

You're joking, right? You can't possibly expect a sensible answer to a hopelessly euphoric question like that.
