probably because of the strong smell of your family members. Maybe he is trying to pee over people's smell because he is trying to be the pack leader. Does it occur more frequently on kids's bed?(assuming if you have kids) make sure the dog doesn't dominant over the the kids. it's dangerous for the kids when dogs do that.

i am no expert but maybe the dog is marking his territory? keep em off the beds and never let them on the furniture...aaannnd if he peed on the bed for sure he snuck a leak or two someplace on the floor that you havent seen yet.

It is obvious that the dog feels this is his bathroom, try some very hard training to a piticular spot in the yard. Have him neutered so he is not marking this as his territory.

I dont know what your dog is thinking but when my cat used to get in trouble, or if I didnt come home one night, or she didnt go outside as much as she wanted that day, she would poop in my shoes. I think it's an emotion thing. so maybe your dog is mad at you or upset in some way.

Because he is trying to establish his dominance. Either dominate this pet or keep it outside.
If a dog pee'd in my bed...that dog would be injected and buried. The End. (dogs are animals. treat them like it)
