that's a big difference at your age --- a junior and an 8th grader. I'd let it go.
It won't matter when you're older, but for now, big deal

I had a couple friends back in high school that were you the same position but only 1 year apart. In the end they showed everyone that it didn't matter who was older as long as they were at the same maturity level, which they were. I'm a guy, and I'll admit that in general guys take longer to mature. Thus usually a younger girl and older guy work together. But this guy is right there with you. Go have fun. You're in high school. So whatever choices you make today socially, will most likely not affect you even a year down the road.
P.S. The hardest thing for him, is going to be that you will always be the one driving while you two are in high school.

If you are secure in how you feel about yourself then you wouldn't worry about others. There is nothing wrong with dating a boy 2 years younger. No one really says anything about a boy dating a girl 2 years younger do they?
If you like him date him. Have some fun you are not going to get married tomorrow (if ever) so enjoy life. We have dated older and younger boys and have had allot of fun with both.

Yes it's ok. If you really like the guy, screw what other people think. Other people's opinion's only matter unless you let them. And if anyone gives you crap about it, they either aren't your friend, or they don't care enough to try to understand why you like the guy. I say go for it. And don't ever waste your time wondering what other people think. You should be thinking about what you want, not what they want.

hmm, I prefer someone my age becaue they're more mature and all. I'm 15 turning 16 by the way, so yeah. I don't like dating 14 year old girls. .. I think it's who I am.

Age doesn't matter....if you wanna be w/ him, go ahead. Don't pay attentions to what all think or say about you/relationship. As long as you're happy, that's all that matters. Plus, your true friends are not gonna Tripp about it.....they're are supposed to be there for you. The only ones that might talk a lot of crap would be all them haters........you shouldn't care about them.

Your first mistake is worrying at all of what other people think. Love is love and perhaps this could turn to that. Or this guy could jus be a fun companion. Give it a chance.

It doesn't matter what other people think as long as you are happy. Two years is not a big age difference at all.

DON'T WORRY WHAT OTHERS THINK OR SAY. CONSIDER THIS THOUGH, BOYS DON'T MATURE AS FAST AS GIRLS DO. YOU WILL FIND THAT HE WILL BE SILLY WHEN YOU NEED HIM TO BE SERIOUS. THE AGE DIFFERENCE RIGHT NOW IS AN ISSUE. WHEN YOU TWO ARE OLDER, IT WON'T MEAN A THING. TRY TO FIND SOMEONE YOUR OWN AGE FOR NOW. BESIDES YOU'RE TOO YOUNG TO GET SERIOUS.
