They think you are their dog
The butt in face position is a position of power in the pack
Put her in her place and ignore her, I mean, no NO rewards until she complies
She must be trained and from that comes respect
Move the big dog to your chest, close to your heart and put the yorkie at your feet
When the yorkie acts out, sneeze into her face and put her where she belongs

I think my Yorkie does it just because if she's facing me, she can't see what's going on in the rest of the room. If she sits with her butt in my face, then she's looking the same direction I am and can see what's going on.
Honestly, I think she really does it so she can see if one of my cats sneaks up and lays down on my feet......she thinks she's the only animal in the house....the only one that counts that is!!

You will have to train her do sit the other way.
When she sits like that, pick her up and turn her around, tell to stay.
If she turns back, facing away from you, tell her "bad dog" and move her off your body.
When she comes back and sits facing away from you repeat the above actions.
Always talk to her in a firm voice when you are training her, but do not yell.

Maybe it is a dominance thing I would just turn her around and pet her and tell her she is a good dog. I have two yorkies and I think they are the best dogs ever

Maybe she thinks you are ignoring her.........as dogs greet each other by smelling butts........maybe she is trying to see if you like her........
Did you let your other dog sit on your lap when it when she was a puppy? we had a small puppy that was a lab/hound mix. He was the runt and so small and we let him sit on our laps.........then he grew up and fast and we had a hard time teaching him......that he CAN'T sit on us anymore..he weighs 98 pounds now . so.........we had to gently push him off and make him sit on the floor. when we were pushing him off we kept saying NO. fairly loud and in an annoyed voice.... when we got him on the floor, we petted him and said good boy......when he moved to get back up on us we again said a firm NO told him to sit,,,,petted him and said good boy........you have to keep doing this firmly EVERY time. a smart dog can be trained in a few days.....a dumb one will take longer....but it can be done.....A small hint.......if your other dog is smaller........you MUST do the same thing with her....Do not let her sit on your lap........the other dog WILL get resentful wondering why she can't and the other one can..........hope this helps......

Because you let her do it. If it were me, I would put a halt to that right away. I love my dogs but I do not want their butts in my face.
