I was wondering if when you get septoplasty done if it will leave a scar? I am about to get septoplasty this monday

No scar on the outside anyway..can't see anything on the inside either. Sure did help me breath..best thing I ever did. Just remember..when you first wake up to stay relaxed and breath a few times thru your mouth.If you try to breath thru your nose you might panic because of the packing. If you can..ask your doc to put a tube in each nostril before he packs it that way you will be able to breath.

No scars, all on the inside. You may get black eyes depending on the amount of work needing to be done, but that goes away...Ask your doctor before the procedure. It is usually a pretty easy thing.

My daughter had it. She had a bridge inside of her nose and was to much of an idiot to know it was up there and she went swimming. The doctor threw a gasket out. She had a bunch of stitches on the inside of her nose. She was 16 yrs old.
No scar, it was all done from the inside.

If you're talking about a nose job, yes I had it done and no there is no visible scarring.

it shouldn't leave a scar on the outside. the septum is typically operated on from inside your nose.
