I want to play a Flash animation I have made. But when I try to open it, my computor says I need to download the "correct software" What is the CORRECT SOFTWARE & WHERE CAN I GET IT?

You can download Macromedia Flash player, but I prefer to use SWF Opener. I find it gives me more control over how I view the Flash.

you had to download the flash player 8 from the www.macromedia.com in order to play the flash animation ... this is the software you had to use in order to play the flash animation . Hope that this help

Try opening it in Windows explorer, if you computer already have Macromedia Flash Player plugin available it will work directly, else it will direct you to download the same and install.

Macromedia is no longer. You must get Flash at the Adobe website:

U have to download MacromediaFlashplayer which is freely available on net.
