Fentanyl is extremely dangerous...it's a good idea not to mess with it, especially as its interactions with other drugs can be fatal.

I'm trying to be nice, but I just can't think of any decent reason why someone would want to turn fentanyl gel into powder for IV injection.
Maybe the asker could specify his or her reason for doing so and then I would be much more understanding.
Fentanyl is one of the most potent narcotic analgesics there is. It's used to relieve severe, chronic pain such as with cancer patients, etc.
It can also be used in the prehospital setting, although it rarely is. It's so potent, that it's dosage is measured in micrograms, one of the smallest units available.
If it's meant to be injected, it's provided in a liquid form already. There are some medications that are meant to be reconstituted, but usually from a powder, not a gel.
To be blunt, if you try to inject yourself with fentanyl gel or powder, you stand a very, very good chance of killing yourself (and I'm not kidding!). You will slowly drift off, and become unconscious, only you won't wake up. Your breathing will slow, and slow some more until you are not breathing at all. Then your brain, starved for lack of oxygen will start to die, and your heart will, too. Your only hope will be that someone found you and called 911, and even then, it might already be too late.
Potent medications such as these should only be administered under a doctor's direction.

First off. Don't ask **** like this in ****** Yahoo answers man most of these people have never even looked into the world we live in. Second, yes it's possible but not without extreme risk of killing yourself immediately, over time, or losing the limb you shot it in... Even IF you were careful... Just rub the gel on your gums or something which can also kill you if you're not careful. You can't get in bed with the devil and not get ******... Best wishes and stay safe. Oh and go to blue light or drugs.com for this kind of info. Theyre into the whole harm reduction thing there.

I had been pondering the same exact question! I am currently on the fentanuyl duragesic patchs. I tried adding a bit of distilled water and cooking it down. There is still quite a bit left to inject, but it works! Feel free to email me, if you want to know more....

You wanna get a buzz. But you're playing with the devil here. Trust me when I say what you're doing is so easy to overdose and die! You'd be better off going on the street and buying heroin.
