My boyfriend just graduated from H.S and has a good paying job but is waiting to go to college in one more year. I have one more year in H.S and he wants a baby. He told me he wanted me to finish school first, graduate, have a baby, get a good job and then wait atleast untill the baby is one or two and then go to college to proceed with my career. Is that a good idea or no?

If you have the opportunity to go to college after you graduate from H.S., take it! Get that degree before you have any children. That way, should anything ever happen that your man isnt around, or isnt able to work, you HAVE the degree and something to work with to make a good living!

Girl are you serious? You are too young to have a baby! Girl, do you know how HARD it is to raise a baby?! Its a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week, full time job--that never ends!! Babies arent these cute dolls that you see on TV--they need diapers changes, bottle feedings, baths, breakfast, lunch & dinner--not to mention all the housework you have to do, and the job you might have to get because it takes 2 incomes to survive today!!
Girl, what you gonna do when your boyfriend dont want you no more--and he dumps you and the baby, and he moves on to another girl??.... Girl, go to college and discover what you want to do with your life. Get a Degree and a Great Job, Become independant so you can take care of yourself..After you graduate, if he's still around--tell him to marry you, then you'll think about having some baby!

Both of u finish college if u want a "good career" . Kids and jobs dont mix well.

No it is not. your bf should not tell you how to live your life. besides its easier to go to college right after high school without having to worry about a little one. stand up for urself. and if he has a problem with it, he obviously dosent love you enough to respect your decision.
