I think that my all time favorite song for that occassion would be "Have I told you lately " by Rod Stewart. It is not only a beautiful sentiment but also reinforces a daddies unconditional love for his daughter and that no one would ever come before her in his life. A great thing to tell a daughter as she is transitioning into a new family and needs to be as secure as possible. It seems to me that it is all around the best choice.
Congrats on your upcoming wedding!

How about She Will Be Loved by Maroon 5
Beauty queen of only eighteen
She had some trouble with herself
He was always there to help her
She always belonged to someone else
I drove for miles and miles
And wound up at your door
I've had you so many times but somehow
I want more
I don't mind spending everyday
Out on your corner in the pouring rain
Look for the girl with the broken smile
Ask her if she wants to stay awhile
And she will be loved
She will be loved
Tap on my window knock on my door
I want to make you feel beautiful
I know I tend to get so insecure
It doesn't matter anymore
It's not always rainbows and butterflies
It's compromise that moves us along
My heart is full and my door's always open
You can come anytime you want
I don't mind spending everyday
Out on your corner in the pouring rain
Look for the girl with the broken smile
Ask her if she wants to stay awhile
And she will be loved
She will be loved
I know where you hide
Alone in your car
Know all of the things that make you who you are
I know that goodbye means nothing at all
Comes back and begs me to catch her every time she falls

"I turn to you" by Christina Aguilera is nice and "Your song" by Elton John. Both are about a closeness with no sexual or relationship themes that wouldn't work for father and daughter. At my wedding my husband and his mom danced to the first and me and my 9 year old son danced to the other.

Something by the Beatles. It's nice to have a special dance at your wedding for his daughter.

I lost my father 5 years ago.. it really killed me looking at any songs. But then I lost my mother 2 years ago and got married in August. My grandfather danced with me and we danced to Dance with my father again by Luther Vandross. It's an amazing song. I love it and it really takes my feelings and puts them in a song. My wish is a good song, I actually used that for my bridal party intro. Good luck..

Stevie Wonder:
You are the Sushine of My life (edited for time) is a great one for the lyrics. http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/steviewonder/youarethesunshineofmylife.html
FOR just plain father-daughter fun when he turns he back over to the groom or to father of the groom the DJ can switch to
Isn't She Lovely?http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/steviewonder/isntshelovely.html (I once saw it on a wedding video with father-daughter dance and it had them smiling through the tears!)
or Hero by Mariah Carey

I love the idea of "A Whole New World." Continuing on the Disney theme, "You'll Be in My Heart" would be nice cuz it talks about the everlasting love of a parent for a child. "Always In All Ways" by Kenny Loggins is sweet, too, except that it is more about the child growing up and leaving (verse 3).

"Zoey Jane" by Staind
it's a song Aaron Lewis wrote to his daughter. It's great. it's what my father and i danced to at my wedding. it's slow but it's still got the Staind beat to it...not dull.
