If you had this open and understanding relationship then you wouldn't be jealous now would you? Maybe you need to re-think your arrangement because it really doesn't sound like it is working for you....
Just wondering, who had the original idea for an open relationship?
Do you expect her not to be jealous when you find a lover?

It depends on who initiated the idea of an open relationship. If she did, then you are hurt because it's not benefiting you any while she dates. If you did, then you are hurt because she's enjoying it more than you are while you sit home. Either way it's a tough situation. I can't say it's wrong to be jealous, but I honestly don't think it's jealousy you feel. Comes off more as hurt. If you have the "open" and honest relationship that you claim, talk to her about it. Maybe an open relationship isn't right for you two.

If you agreed to this type of a relationship then you have no right to be jealous. You had to know that this would happen at some point in the relationship. This is the problem with open relationships, someone gets jealous and that's the beginning of the end.

well obviously if you have such a open and understanding relationship, then why my dear fellow are you jealous? I personally cannot picture being married and my wife seeing someoneelse, but remember if this is not what you want either then you better get things straightened out right now, because you already sound confused. By the way ask her the same question you just asked on here, and see what her reply is.

Yes. If you have an open relationship and she is dating, you have no right to be jealous. You could date, you just aren't now. The thing I have never understood about those types of relationships is the sloppy seconds at the end of the day. You just come home from one woman and have sex with another. Hm, I don't get it.

Does anyone today take marriage to heart. First of all you don't have a real marriage or this would not be an option. What you have is a close friendship that you are afraid of losing that is why you are jealous. You think maybe someone else is giving her something that you couldn't. This is why we have such a high divorce rate, and why the youth of our world have no chance because of role models like yall. I'll be praying for you because I feel that you do really love her. Good Luck

Are you jealous of the fact she is with someone else or because you are not with anyone?
Anyways I hope you and your wife do away with the open relationship because its a very bad idea.

If the open relationship is something that you BOTH wanted then yes. But alot of times one partner will agree to an open relationship just to make the other happy but not really want it.
And since she is the one having all the dates and your not then my guess would be that it was not something that you really wanted.
So think long and hard about this and if if your really not wanting to do this then you need to talk to your wife and explain it to her, otherwise your marriage will start taking its toll.
