depends on which section of Yahoo Answers you are in. In the Education and Reference, and Science and Mathematics sections most likely yes. Everywhere else, most seek human connection. I think there is comfort in knowing that someone has been there, done that, and has overcome it. I mean, that is what makes us humans. Experience. And it's always nice (i know i sound vague but i can't find a better term) to hear the other sides of the story...to get an outsider's view on things. I know this might sound stupid, but sometimes, people do say the darnest things. What we would not have considered possible, IS.
on my part, I'm self-reliant. I don't like taking from people. I only ask when I really can't find an answer. btw, there are lots of great people at the S & M section to do them justice.
actually, it all depends on you. yes, it's frustrating how there are lots of people on here who ask stupid questions but you just have to learn to let them be or it's gonna get to you. one thing i do is i keep watch of the great people here and put them on my watchlist. i like classifying them as people with substance. it's amazing how phrasing a question just the right way would attract the right kind of people.
in the mean time, don't worry about them. they'll grow. don't let them stunt you.

Most people nowadays can't think or do for themselves. They want everything handed to them. Why in the world would they spend time working out good keywords for a search engines and visiting a few pages when they can come here and ask people for the answers and check back later after playing video games? I mean really!

Some people aren't good at phrasing things so that they get the right information too. Trust me, it is a gift.
