The same way as anyone else. When you meet someone that you like, you get up your nerve and you ask her out. If she says no, then go on. But you have to ask to find out if you are compatible.

They should ask in the same way that anyone else asks girls out. You can start by asking for their number, and then go from there. Keep the phone conversations short, though. Good luck!

First you have to smile and look at her. if she looks interested or embarrassed then you could ask her. wait until the next few hours or until you see her again to ask her. say 'would you think about going with me, because i would really like to get to know you and you seem like a great person.' trust me its a winner.
If you are so EXTREMELY shy then ask a person who is your friend and her friend to hook you two up.
Some girls are offended because if you really wanted to be with them you would ask her yourself. thats why my first suggestion is reccomended.

online, ask them to hang out with u and a bunch of your friends. And then u can try and get them alone. Kinda try and hint that u like them, after that talk to them online more and tell them how you really feel about them, even a message through myspace would be good ( my bf asked me out on myspace i thought that it was so cute lol)

Be yourself. If you're shy, you can still talk to her and be your shy self. Just be YOU- if she doesn't like it, then it's not meant to be anyway.
