Your doggie shouldnt be pain from getting a shot from the vet :\ i think you should call back to ask whats wrong and what you can give it for pain relief. Dont give it asprin or anything because its still a puppy plus the dosage is way different for dogs, if you give it to your puppy it might get sick or worse! Call the vet and see whats wrong. I hope everythings okay! (: Good Luck!! <3

I have given my older dog asprin when he got hit by a car, he had a couple of teeth knocked out, but was ok other then that. Neither the car nor the asprin killed him, but I suggest you talk to your vet before giving a puppy human meds.

talk to your vet, sometimes all you need is to give a call and they will call you back either today or tomorrow, I doubt they will tell you to come in again. It is pretty common for the pet to be sore after the vaccine escpecailly after a rabies vaccine. The pet should be much better after a couple of days. However, get in touch with your vet, aspirin may not be the right med to give and it is crucial to know how much to give and this goes by weight and only your vet can tell you how much.

Baby asprin can be given to a puppy and asprin can be given to adults, but only in very small doses. However, IBUPROPHEN IS BAD!!!! THe chemicals in both are different, but those in apsrin are very similar to a canine medication called Rimadyl, which is prescribed for canine arthritis. But before you medicate your pup, ask your vet.

I have a dog that has hip problems, I was told to give him 1-2 81mg asprin, I'm not sure about a 3 month old puppy, you should probably get infant tylenol and go by weight. That would be my best guess.

I think I would call my vet back. A dog shouldn't be in a lot of pain from a shot.

No, you shouldn't give the dog any drugs at all because you don't know the correct dosage as it might cause it stomach pain or make it ill. Ask your vet for a prescription. Drugs are manufactured for humans and animals react to drugs differently, so for example, morphine may be depressants in one species but in another they may stimulate it. (I think this is a difference between humans and cats, don't know about dogs).

A pet can't tell you when they feel worse if you give them something to numb their symptoms they can act normal even if they're getting worse. You could have a full blown allergic reaction and not know it soon enough to act. A shot shouldn't cause pain after the first few seconds watch her very carefully in case something goes wrong.

Dogs can have baby aspirin, I was giving my older dog a couple of baby aspirin a couple times a day for her arthritis pain. NEVER give a dog Tylenol or things like that, just plain aspirin.
