I promise you I don't care what straightener you have - you need a Paul Mitchell Smoothing iron. I have tried others, lots of others, there is nothing like it. I bought three different kinds after my first one broke not wanting to spend the money again. My hair never looked the same. VERY IMPORTANT though if you travel or when you put your iron away do not wrap the cord tightly around the iron, eventually it will make it short out....that is why I had to buy my second. My first lasted one year my second has lasted at least 3 years so far and going strong. You don't even need a straightening product with it but if you want to use one while you blow your hair out first Bath and body has smoothing creme that works great....just use a dab though. Good luck

John Freida!!!
THe Hair Serum..its a clear serum..there are other product too but the hair serum is really good!
Also to protect ur hair from the iron use thermasilk heat tamer, (nothing is worse than curly dry burnt hair) it makes ur hair kind of moist and weighted too so itll stay straight more..but it might get oily after a day so wash ur hair!!

i think john frieda is better than garneir but i use paul mitchell super skinny serum. it works the best for me!!
either way what ever you get, put it on your hands and rub em together a little bit and then start at your ends and work your way up. you want the most serum to be at the ends and only a little bit to be everywhere else because it will make it look oily. also if you have split ends you should really consider getting a trim. thats the only way to get rid of them is to chop em off! well hope i helped!! good luck with your hair!

After washing your hair, make your hair semi dry. Then get some gel (I use LOREAL studioline gel. Don't use hard. go for flexible or medium.) and apply the gel all over your hair. then get a comb and brush it through. Then on low on the hairdrier, dry your hair down but slowly, using a comb to guide it down. So it's like the hairdryer is following the comb while the comb is...combing the gelled hair. I hope you understand what I mean.
The gel and comb should hold the hair while the hair drys so it won't go flying. Do this for a few months, and slowly, your hair will straighten. Use a hair straightener after it dries if you wish.
This worked on me. Well, I don't have frizzy hair, but I used to wipsy hair. You should try this. It really works!
Good luck on your hair.

[Sorry this is a list, i didnt feel like typing paragraphs]
Patene contains wax.
Get rid of your split ends.
Don't brush your hair, not good for curly hair.
Comb your hair, or finger it.
Use shampoo every other day, or once a week, it dries your hair.
Shampoo removes the good oils from your hair.
Curly hair takes longer for the oil to reach the ends so it feels dry.
Serum on the ends of your hair will help, or more conditioner on ends.
Use a hydrating condintioner, curly hair dries out quick.
Straightening your hair adds to the split ends, deal with the curls.
Get used to having curly hair.
Don't blow dry, if you do.
Let your hair air dry.

You shouldn't worry so much about your hair. I have never even noticed a woman's split ends. I'm convinced that only other women notice this. Attractive women are attractive even without big bouncy hair like you see in shampoo commericials. Paying too much attention to superficialities takes away from one's personality, which is an important part of beauty.

I suffer with frizzy, curly hair too. Last year, I went to a new hairdresser and he recommended Alterna Hemp texturizing glaze. It's expensive - but it works! The cheaper products just don't cut it.
