HOW MANY GO TO HEAVEN?

13 Since they are to rule over the earth, it is clear that those who go to heaven will be tried and tested followers of Christ. This means that babies or young children, who have not been fully tested during years of Christian service, will not be taken to heaven. (Matthew 16:24) However, such young ones who die have the hope of being raised to life on earth. (John 5:28, 29) So the total number who go to heaven will be small when compared with the many who will receive life on earth under Kingdom rule. Jesus told his disciples: “Have no fear, little flock, because your Father has approved of giving you the kingdom.”—Luke 12:32.

14 How small a number will that class of Kingdom rulers be? Will it include only the apostles and other early followers of Jesus? No, the Bible shows that the “little flock” will include more. At Revelation 14:1, 3 the Bible says: “And I saw, and, look! the Lamb [Jesus Christ] standing upon the [heavenly] Mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand . . . who have been bought [or, taken] from the earth.” Note that only 144,000 persons are seen with the Lamb, Jesus Christ, on heavenly Mount Zion. (Hebrews 12:22) So rather than all good people going to heaven, the Bible reveals that only 144,000 tried and faithful persons will be taken there to rule with Christ.

No one goes to heaven. The 144,000 that you refer to is a teaching that you learned in the Kingdom hall. Read around that section of scriptures that they use and you will see that those standing around the Lamb are the ones that were beheaded for not worshiping the beast or taking his mark. Far too many religions only give their followers the pieces and parts that back their beliefs. If you want to know YHWH then desert all religion and seek Him out on your own. You can never know Him as long as you are putting your trust in a religion and men to show you the way.

Well, we are all GODS children and I'm hopeful and faithful that there are more than 144,000 of GODS human creations that will live in grace, beauty and eternity with him in the land that he has prepared called heaven. I pray I go to heaven......GOD praises love and a life of love and my heart is full of it for everyone.....

I don't think I am going to heaven when I die; but I can think of no worse fate than living in paradise while others are bieng tortured, so I don't mind. In other words, heaven would not be good for me anyway.

So, when I arrive at hell I will try to convert Satan and make hell at least a reasonable place to live.
I have all eternity to try; that gives me a good chance. :)

(P.S. I am going to hell for not accepting Jesus, not because I am immoral or anything)

Apparently you are a Jehovahs witness!

The Bible is very clear that all born again believers will have eternal life! Believe on the Lord Jesus and you shall be saved!

Do I? Well, I am not sure. I would like to go, but I have no idea if I will, or even what it would be like to go.

How many? I have no idea either. The Bible says 144,000.

So basically, I do not know.

First part first. Christ promised me that if I believed in him as the Christ, son of God, that I would never perish. Simple as that.

John 3:14-18

14And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Second part. Will Children be allowed into the Kingdom? I found no passages specifically stating so, but yes, I believe they will. Remeber, they have not reached an age where they are accountable for their sin. They have no concept of sin, such as Adam was before he tasted of the fruit of Knowledge. Children do reach a point where they do know right from wrong, and may then with to learn about Christ.

Matthew 19:14:

14But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

I have no idea how your verses support the idea of children going to heaven.

Matthew 16:24

24Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

John 5:28-29
28Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

29And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Finally, how many people will be in heaven, read Revelation Chapter 7 closer. Especially read Revelation 7:9.

Revelation 7

1And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

2And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,

3Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

4And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

5Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.

6Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nephthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand.

7Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand.

8Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.

9After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

10And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

11And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,

12Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.

13And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?

14And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

15Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.

16They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.

17For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

The number of them in heaven could not be numbered by men. The 144,000 refers to the number of Jews, 12,000 from each tribe, who will choose to follow Christ during the tribulation period, probably in the 3.5 years of the second half.

For future reference, please make sure you quote the right scripture, and use them in the correct context. There are a lot of young people out there who may only be exposed to Christ through this media. You may drive someone away from the true message of Christ by mistake.
