first change your phone number, second, move if you can afford it; don't put in a change of address, just contact all your bills directly, that way the post office can't give out the forwarding address. Third, tell your job HR department what trouble you are having. Confide in someone at work, church, or family member. Fourth, warn him that you have moved on and you can't talk now or ever, that you have put messure in place to protect you from his contact. Then go get a restraining order they are like $25.00 in Indiana. Call the cops everytime he calls or drives by your house or work after that order comes into effect, take a witness with you so they know you are serious. Fifth, buy a thing of mase, and if he get close enough use it. then have him arrested for stalking. It is 5-15 years in Indiana for stalking charges. If after all that he still thinks you are the only one, you may have to MOVE out of STATE. It may not be the greatest choice if you have to leave friends and family, and look for a new job, but you will be alive to celebrate your next birthday.

Call the police in when he comes around. Get a court order that tells him has to stay away from you and how far away. If he violates the order follow through. Call the police and get him arrested. They have to take him away and he will be brought before a court and he will have a record after this.

I'd make it clear, to his face, that he was to stay away from me, not call, not email, nothing...and tell him if he didn't desist I would involve the law (and then stick to it)...
What's he doing exactly? If he calls, don't answer...if he emails, delete them...if he shows up at your house, don't answer the door...
