Aloe vera with lidocaine in it so it will numb it. Or you could put some neosporin with pain relief on it.

First, make sure you run any burn you get under cold water. Don't apply ice to it or plunge it into ice water, as this can further damage the skin -- just run the cold tap of your sink over it to try to rapidly cool the skin down.
Once you've done that, the best first aid for a first degree burn (no blisters) is to treat it with aloe vera or an antibiotic ointment, cover it to protect it somewhat while it is still sensitive, and take Tylenol or ibuprofen for the pain. First degree burns usually heal in 3 to 6 days.
If you have blisters developing on the burn (second degree burn) and the burn is larger than 2-3 inches, you should see a doctor immediately. They will probably want to prescribe a stronger antibiotic ointment and will give you more specific care advice.
Hope you feel better soon -- at least you get to eat the cupcakes, right?

Hold it under cold water, then apply neat tea tree oil. It will sting, but it's a very good remedy and ensures you won't scar.
