Sex, Drugs & Rock 'n' Roll
-- It's an age-old theme.

My theory is that once the "artist" has some level of success, they don't have any real experiences to write about anymore. Now that they have money girls throw themselves at them, and they can party until they drop (some of them literally). So the disenchantment that once inspired them to write good lyrics is now gone; what do they get "the blues" about? Nothing that the average fan can relate to.

Well, as I have heard before... sex sells and boy ain't that the truth...ugh! I mean I like some of the music because they have great beats but the lyrics bug me!! Bling bling this and bitches that!! God its maddening! I am also tired of people saying that it exploits women! OK in a small way it does BUT, just look at those chicks, they look like they are having a great time to me! It even looks like they might be competing for who gets the lead rapper guy to look at them or even touch them...JEEZ! So yes, it is played out! But I fear it wont end..... I am glad that there are some guys out there such as yourself that don't play into all that. Thanks for the comment/question!!

I don't know. It is played out! I get tired of seeing these videos exploit and degrade women. But hey, "sex sells," or so they say.
