To seriously understand the "Science of Reincarnation", then you must obtain a copy of the book of the same name and in addition a copy of the "Bhagavad Gita As It Is" translated from Sanskrit into English by HDG A C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.
When you have studied these texts, you will attain a clear perspective on the difference between matter and spirit
The first point is that you are not the material body, it is simply a gross covering that is temporary. The reason each individual possesses a material body on this plane of existence, is due to mis-use of free will, this mis-use of free will brings us to the material world, to exist separately from God and the personal relationship we have with him. Our real identity is we are Spirit Soul, the Spirit Soul is eternal, the material body changes but the Soul or the Self remains the same. At no time did you not exist and there will be no time when you will cease to exist.
The individual soul is a person and God is also a person. The Supreme person. The purpose of human life is to re-establish this relationship with the Supreme person, by purifying the material infection and thus ending the cycle of the repetition of birth, death, old age and disease.
To end the cycle of the repetition of birth and death, is not difficult at all, as some false propaganda would have you believe, initially sincerity and the ability to hear are the only requirements.
For further information on the "Science of Reincarnation" and how to easily transcend the wheel of Samsara, the cycle of the repetition of birth & death, kindly make contact as follows:-

I'm not sure I understand your question completely. Came back from what/where? An alien world as in unfamiliar or another planet? Are you saying your old friends are dead and not reincarnated like you? Untainted what? PLaces? People?
Without knowing more the best I can offer you is this: author Slyvia Browne has written books on how our spirits, the part of us that can never die, has the ability to come back to earth for another life. That life is for learning and we are NEVER alone being surrounded by angels and spirit guides. I hope you will take the time to pick out one of her books. (Get an audio tape version at your local library if you don't like reading)
Best of luck in your journey.
P.S. I believe Sylvia's website is www.sylvia.org

If reincarnation was real.... then why is the world getting crazier by the day..
If we were coming back over and over, don't you think there would be less evil in the world by this year of 2006.. I surly think so.... Also, the Bible clearly states that we only live once and die once. I am so thankful to the Father, that once is all we have to go through here and then eternally with Him.....
Don't believe this for a moment. Please reach out to Him... He will show Him self to you. He loves you and sees all you are going through. He wants to bring you comfort... Let Him in... He is soooo awesome....... Blessings

I understand what you're talking about.
Very few people consciously remember past lives because, at the subconscious level, most people have *chosen* not to remember. For the small percentage who choose to remember, there can be an almost indescribable sorrow connected to people and events from previous times and places. I've filled several books of poetry on the subject of this very special kind of nostalgia. It can be a very lonely kind of bittersweet nostalgia, but it has a deeper meaning for everyone who has chosen to come back with an awareness of having lived before.
Few people want to take on the pressure, disorientation and anguish of recalling pieces of their history. I believe those of us who have chosen to remember have a good reason for remembering. Maybe we need to contemplate our personal history at the conscious level. Maybe we need to use it as a gift -- write about it, let it inspire us to create something.
Or maybe we need to share a small part of it as a message of comfort for someone who is trying to overcome the fears and superstitions of conventional religion.
Truly comprehending the fact that you lived before is, at best, a mixed blessing. It's important to try to balance the melancholy you feel with the understanding that you are a piece of the eternal Cosmos, without beginning or end, and that as sure as you lived past lives, you will live future lives. Those you love are never lost. They may disappear out of sight for awhile, but we find them again.

Reincarnation: Does the Bible allow for this possibility?
Buddhist monks worshipping
in Phitsanulok, Thailand
Reincarnation is the belief that the human soul never perishes or dies, it simply passes through a succession of lives. In its basic concept, it had its origin in India sometime near 800 B.C. Reincarnation is vital to classical Buddhism and Hinduism. Although reincarnation has ancient roots, its more modern, popular versions are modifications of the ancient, eastern beliefs of Hinduism.
In the original forms of reincarnation, it was believed that souls transform from life to life in never-ending cycles. It was believed that it was even possible to reincarnate into the form of an animal or plant. Most modern, popular versions of reincarnation limit this never-ending process to the transmigration of the soul into human bodies.
The concept of karma is closely associated with reincarnation. Karma is essentially the law of cause and effect. Those that profess belief in karma teach that the deeds (good or bad) of one's past lives affect this present life. Further, one’s present deeds will have ramifications for future lives.
In other words, the law of sowing and reaping is not limited to this present life but rather continues throughout eternity.
In much of the Orient, this strict belief in karma has resulted in a hopeless, pessimistic view of life. Their lives are seen as dreary, endless cycles of suffering and rebirth. Because of this endless chain of karma, reincarnation does not resolve the problem of evil, but simply points toward the impossible goal of perfection and self-salvation, the ultimate freedom from reincarnation. In modern, western reincarnation, the objective is to join with "ultimate reality," merging with God and becoming God. Modern reincarnation often promotes the divinity of the soul and denies the biblical concept of a sovereign, personal God.
The Bible also contradicts the belief in karma by emphasizing grace. According to the Bible, atonement and forgiveness may be gained only through the death and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ. Salvation is based solely upon the work of Jesus Christ, not upon our own merits. The concepts of reincarnation and karma are in clear contrast to Hebrews 9:27, "For it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment." Paul clearly states that the soul does not transmigrate into another living body, but goes to await judgment.
For the Christian, Paul promised that death is the means to being in the presence of Jesus, "we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord (heaven). 2 Corinthians 5:8" It is clear that the Bible does not allow for the concept of reincarnation.

Yes, If you are buried then you turn into fertiliser.
If you are cremated then you cause more global warming.
I have a small joke about this.
A woman who chose to be cremated dies
as the smoke flows out the chimney her husband says -- thats the hottest she has ever been.

I don't believe in reincarnation. The Bible, specifically the Letter to the Hebrews, specifically tells us that we live on this earth only once.
