Just what it says, if you get hit in the face what you do? turn the other cheek to get hit on the other side? That's what Jesus said we should do, I don't see to many Christians doing that.

Ignoring something. For example if you see someone in trouble - getting mugged or something - and you just walk on by and pretend it's not happening. That would be turning the other cheek. It makes sense if you think about it because you are metaphorically (and sometimes literally) turning your face away so you won't see the trouble and therefore won't feel like you should help out. I hope I explained it well enough so that you have a better understanding of the phrase.
P.S. You don't want to know what is in hotdogs - trust me!

Letting something go instead of acting on it. Like if someone wrongs you, turning the other cheek means that you don't do something to wrong that person. It means not getting even.

It means that someone has slapped you in the face figuratively or physically, you have forgiven them and turned the other cheek for them to slap too.
It does not mean you can't hurt back after the second slap.

It comes from the Bible it means when someone hits you in the face you should not hit them back but offer them your other cheek to slap as well. It is meant to show that you should be forgiving. To forgive others. That only love conquers hate.

If you'v seen or heard something that you know is'nt right, but you don't want to go any further with it, then you "turn the other cheek".

Iiterally, when someone slaps your face, rather than react violently, you offer them your other cheek to slap as well.
