Yellow Labs...they are smart and sweet and love kids....we have Lab..."Roxie", she loves to go swimming, a couple times a week we load her up in the truck and take her to the lake for a swim with the kids....

When I was growing up we had a Puli (Hungarian Sheep Dog) -- he (Benji) was my best friend - my dad took him to dog shows. He was awesome. Now I'm in Florida so you don't want a sheepdog down here. We had a mutt - Punkin -- she's in heaven right now -- got her from the SPCA. She would "clean herself" and be loud and all you had to do was say "go in the other room and do that" and she would get up and go in the other room. She was awesome and I miss her. As far as favorite dog breed --- family dog -- would have to be a Lab. We had a black Lab (Pete) -- toddlers could jump on his back while he laid there and didn't move - didn't run - nothing. THEY ARE THE BEST DOGS WITH KIDS.

Labrador Retreivers because they're playful, loyal, totally insane, loving to the nth degree, completely moronic but in a totally loveable way, cute as hell, and smart, despite all the above :-) Goldens are phenominal too, but Labs rule :-)

German Shepherds. I like them best for the intelligence. Sedondly for their beauty. This dog is one of the most pliable and can be trained to do so very much. They love to learn and they are very loyal to their master/s.
Many other dogs fall into 2nd place. Like fox terriers, Irish Setters, mutts, goleen retrievers ....

Border Collies because of how they look, how playfull they are, how active they are, how there good work dogs and many other things, like loalty. I have a border collie and she is the most wonderful dog in the world.

Half husky half wolf
I had a all white dog with blue eyes and her name was Ocean..
I loved that dog but someone stole her from our yard never to be seen again!

Chow Chows. There are incredibly loyal, fun to hang out with and they have a purple tongue, what else can you ask for in a dog ?

Chihuahuas because they are the most loving, loyal dogs in the world. Chihuahuas rule. I will never be without one, or more.

my favorite dog is a pug because the are very loyal and they are just so cute. but i may just be parcial to them since i have two 1 fawn and 1 brindle
