the others have answered your question fairly well but if you are looking for the strongest action then the manufacturers have a barrelled action called a "C" block action. it is a very (VERY) large barrel that has inserts for different calibers, the c block is actually the breech block that rotates out from a cut in the barrel to load the next round. i understand that it can withstand an enormous amount of pressure from a fired round.
there is a pistol, single shot, that uses the same breech block action as the test gun, but in a more user friendly form. it comes in a varitity of calibers up to and including heavy rifle rounds. but i am sorry i cant remember the brand name. hope this helps out!

The largest man portable firearm in the world is a 20mm anti tank rifle, however it generally takes 2-3 men to move it and the tripod and the ammunition. 50 BMG m82 is the largest gun that can be transported by one (strong) man.

go to www.military.com and look up weapons. You might just have some luck there.

Personally, I prefer the .50 cal sniper rifle. You can hit a target at over a mile, and you don't even need a head shot to score.

Handgun? You supply little info to go with several demands.

That information is classified. I doubt if it even is available to public.
