People love to blame someone else and not take responsibility for their own actions. Just look at all the frivolous lawsuits in this country.

They do not want the responsibility

People want everything now without delay.

It is easier to blame someone else for their own problems.
Credit card debt, alcoholism, parents, strife..list goes on.

It has a lot to do with low self esteem. Lots of studies have shown that. Real ones, not the ones typed in this forum.

You see God cannot physically be there for them to confront(in their minds) so why not blame Him.

Being a Christian is, to say the least, a responsibility to oneself to do good.

Being good is fine but spreading it around is even better. Even if they do not like it.
God Bless.

God doesn't always get blamed. Actually it's kinda the opposite. When something of amazing happens people are all like OMG IT'S A MIRACLE THANK YOU SO MUCH GOD I'M GONNA BE GOOD FOREVER!!! Yet when something bad happens they just get deppresed and rarely blame god. If you blame someone whenever something good happens to you than why wouldn't you blame them whenever something bad happens?
Anyways.. even if "God" exists... and people ruin their lives by their own stupidity than why did God make people so fuckign stupid? Either way it's his fault.

Anyways, additional comment. you guys are all saying that everyone blames god for bad stuff and you guys are saying it's bad. Well you guys all ******* do it too.

some worship God some worship the devil, and some worship science. For the most part everyone thinks one of these are true. so let the ones that worship God study and learn about him and take part in all God has to offer. and the ones that believe in the devil do the same. and also the ones that believe in science. at the end of life we will all know the truth.are we can look for the truth while we are on earth and be open minded until we find the truth. I hope everyone finds the truth they are looking for and i have included this site as a place to start for some and a place to end for others that thank they know what is true good link http://the-heavenly-home-page.blogspot.com/

Some people believe God has a plan and therefore is responsible for the things that happen. Others feel that God helps those who help themselves. Still others believe that you and only you are responsible for your own fate, regardless of any God if there is one.

These are just some beliefs people have. So, those who blame God for the bad things, probably also praise him for all of the good things that happen to them, though they caused those things to come about by their own hard work and dedication.

Because Christianity tells them to ask for things through prayer. When things go wrong as they often do. God gets the credit when things go right. I'm actually amazed at how few people blame God but then he might get pissed and then where would they be.

It seems to be part of human nature. When Adam had to face God over eating of the fruit his response was that he had been given the fruit by this WOMAN that YOU gave me. The implication, at least to me has always been that it wasn't Adam's fault (At least in Adam's mind) it was Eve's, and if God hadn't made Eve then none of this could have happened. So he was setting an example that his descendants have followed ever since.

People are always going to blame other people when bad things happen. Look at Adam and Eve, no one took responsibility. Adam blamed Eve and Eve blamed the snake. I guess it's easier to point the finger when things go awry.

Because some people can take that fact that they make mistakes. God is the easiest one to blame because he is not in human form and for some people is less believeable. One day though the people who have cursed god will have their judgment day, and they are not going to like it.

Because it is human nature to find a scapegoat, or a place to cast the blame. God is an easy candidate because those who believe in him claim his dominion is over all, so he is obviously in control of it all. If you believe in pre-ordained destiny, then yeah go ahead and blame god, he planned on you being a dipsh** if yu believe in your own ability to control your fate, then suck it up and take the blame.
